Byrdie and I now have a rough idea of travel dates from Bakersfield to Llano, Texas. By staying on the I-10 as much as possible we greatly reduce our chances of getting lost.
March 22--ThursdayThe plan so far is to leave Bakersfield and spend the first night at Holy Resurrection Byzantine Monastery in Newberry Springs, CA.
March 23--Friday
The 2nd night I hope to spend in Quartzsite, AZ. As a friend said, "Everybody has to see Quartzsite once!"
March 24 & 25--Saturday & SundayTombstone, AZ.
March 26--Monday
Las Cruces, NM.
March 27--Tuesday
San Angelo, Texas
March 28--Wednesday
Hallelujah!! We pull into Llano, Texas, outside of Austin to visit cousins Sylvia and Donald Lee!!
